I’m an Actual Yoga Teacher!

It’s been a long, exhausting three weeks.  I just finished my final day of the 230 hour 3 week immersion of yoga teacher training and can’t believe I’ve completed it!  My life has been completely committed to yoga the past 21 days and it’s hard to believe it’s all over.  I was immersed with asanas, pranayama, lots of different practices, meditation, books, articles, Sanskrit, and much more. It was an overwhelming amount of information so I am ready for the chance to let it all sink in now.

This last week, we focused a lot on teaching the class through cues, adjustments, and demonstrations.  There is nothing like practicing what you have learned.  I am so appreciative of my fellow trainees  for their support and encouragement throughout the training.

I will post a “post-training” post in a couple of weeks to share deeper details of the training and how I am feeling then (since right now I’m on a high)…  but as for now, I’ll shift gears.   My sister, Paige, is in town from Myrtle Beach for the weekend and I am more than excited to spend sister-time with her for the next couple of days.  We hiked around Mount Mitchell today:

Though she won’t admit it, I know she is a mountain girl at heart !

I just can’t get enough yoga… handstands are my favorite lately- looking at life with different perspectives.

God creates such awesome pictures!

And lastly, when you fall down… get back up and try it all over again!
