Upon request, here is the Golden Milk recipe that I previously mentioned. This recipe was passed down from a Kundalini teacher I recently studied under, Sierra Hollister. For ONE Single Serving: Bring 1 cup of water and 1/8 tsp. of tumeric to a boil for 8 minutes. While this is boiling, warm 1/2 cup of milk*, 2 tbsp. almond oil, and a sweetener such as raw organic honey or agave syrup to taste (milk is sweet itself- I don’t add any sweetener). Pour both mixtures in a jug or jar and enjoy a warm cup of enlightenment
–I multiplied this recipe by 5 so I would have enough for the week. Refrigerate the milk and when ready, pour into a mug and warm in microwave for about 2 minutes. *Shake or stir before your pour each cup to ensure you got the good stuff (tumeric).
Benefits of tumeric: cleanses the skin, acts as an anti-inflammatory (for those with joint pain or arthritis), and reduces muscle pain. For more on tumeric and golden milk, click here. *You can use whatever milk you prefer (cow’s milk, soy, almond, rice).

I’m curious why you add the almond oil to this recipe. I can never get it to fully mix in, and it feels greasy when I’m drinking it. Otherwise though, I love this recipe. It’s so soothing on cold evening!
There are so many great benefits of Almond Oil! Check some out here: http://www.healthguidance.org/entry/16097/1/Almond-Oil-Health-Benefits.html
But yes, it can make the drink “greasy” so just cut back on the amount. I sometimes omit the oil just for that reason.
Thanks!
