New Format + Revenge!

The weekends always come and go so quickly, especially when you live in such an awesome city to play in!  ;)  One thing about Asheville that I love, is all the food options.  AND, I can always count on multiple vegetarian dishes to choose from.

Last night I met up with a girlfriend at Salsa’s downtown for supper.  There were so many vegetarian options on the menu I had an extremely hard time deciding…  I ended up ordering the Roasted Veggie’s and Blackened Tofu Pom-Pom-Pom and it was delicious!

It was enough for left over’s plus some.  Yum!

This morning, I met Sarajane with Sarajane Case Photography  for coffee at Dripolator to go over a couple of things about the Balanced Peanut website and how I can better serve you all.  She was such a great help and really designed everything I wanted.  So, thanks Sarajane :)  I hope this upgrade is easier for you all to navigate around and more welcoming.  And if you ever have any recommendations or topic suggestions please contact me!

From 4-8pm, I went to the studio to study/practice Bikram and Kundalini where we practiced each for at least 90 minutes.  Bikram isn’t really my preference but I loved Kundalini.
Only one more week to go and I will be officially certified to teach yoga!!

In class, our teacher brought us 2 gallons of Golden Milk, which is a tradition in Kundalini Yoga.  As soon as I got home, I made my first batch, which I am now obsessed with.

Now that I’m finally relaxing on the couch (with my Golden Milk), you can only guess what I’m watching…  Yes, the new season of REVENGE!!! This is the only show that I have ever kept up with since episode 1… this season is going to be so suspenseful!

Who else is with me??! Team Jack or Daniel

Tomorrow marks the first day of a new month.  We get to begin with a clean slate.  I like to use the first of each month to set my goals, forget about the month before, and make new commitments to better myself and others.

Here are my goals for October:

  • Find a church/bible study I can call home (I’ve been church surfing since I moved and I’m anxious to find “the one”)
  • Teach some yoga!!
  • Get my NC driver’s license
  • Train for the half marathon I’m running November 17th with my sister!
  • GIVE more- not necessarily materialistic things
  • VOLUNTEER more of my time

What are some of your goals for October?
